Details of TPA ’08 revealed



Bangkok´s Conrad Hotel will play host to the third annual Thailand Property Awards on Saturday 15 November, event organizers Ensign Media Co. Ltd have revealed.

The event, which seeks recognition of the best events, organizations and individuals in Thailand's real estate industry, grew each year and about 350 listeners came together in 2007 with a gala ceremony in Bangkok at the Royal Orchid Sheraton in December.

“We are really looking forward to the 2008 Thailand Property Awards,” said Duncan Worthington, Ensign Media´s Managing Director. “This is our third year now and each year we review and look to improve the awards process. We have some new ideas for 2008 and are looking forward to it.

“We had some positive and constructive feedback and are looking into methods of improving the entry and judging process further for this year,” added Worthington. Sponsorship opportunities are also set to be tweaked this year; companies from outside the industry will be permitted to put their name to the event for the first time.

Awards also played a key role in getting the real estate industry is more involved in good causes. In 2006, Thailand Property Awards charity auction raised 500000 baht for the "children of the forest" and the charity in 2007, enough money was raised to build a new school for orphans at the Mercy Center in Bangkok.
