Building Maintenance & Asset Management Expo Asia 2008 Attracts Positive Interests



After it was first announced a few months ago, Building Maintenance & Asset Management Expo Asia 2008 -Asia’s premier trade exhibition and conference for the building maintenance and asset/facility management industry -has already attracted high level of participation interests. International companies such as Carrier, ABB, Sodexo, ISS Facility Services, Property Care Services, TOA Group, as well as leading companies from Singapore, Korea, Australia, etc. have either confirmed or reserved their participation. In fact, exhibition space is now over 50% booked and the event is well on track for a successful launch in Thailand property Bangkok on 25th - 26th September 2008.

The high interest of the industry represents a growing interest in the Asian market, particularly in Thailand property. Bangkok is one of the most rapid pace of expansion in the world for the construction of high buildings and real estate developments. City main business districts, residential, commercial and industrial areas continuously expanding. It has more than 1000 registered a number of skyscrapers, and this does not include the hundreds of new construction projects on stream in the next years.

Bangkok property includes to over 170 hospitals, 15 world-class shopping centers, more than 800 condominiums and private apartment buildings, and hundreds of hotels/resorts catering to 15 million tourist arrivals each year. Within Greater Bangkok property, there are over 8 large industrial estates with a wide range of manufacturing facilities. Additionally, the city is a key regional MICE destination with over 250,000 sq. m. of exhibition and convention facilities. One such facility recently outsourced its facility management service worth over 30 million baht per annum.

This market potential serves as the prefect backdrop for the staging of Building Maintenance and Asset Management Expo Asia 2008.
